Hobs Sponsor Architecture Week Northwest

As well as printing the Architecture Week Northwest guide, distributed throughout the region, Hobs also sponsored the successful and highly entertaining launch event held at CUBE - Centre for the Urban and Built Environment in Manchester.

A dazzling array of celebrities and respected figures from the world of both Art and Architecture were present at the event such as Sir Howard Bernstein, Kate Willard of Cumbria Vision and crowd pleasing poet Lemn Sissay, who delighted guests with his colourful and witty poetry on architecture and urban life. Luckily Hobs was on hand to capture the moment with their photographer and high speed colour printer, providing instant images of the evening, printed there and then and handed out to guests as a colourful keepsake.

Hobs proved to be something of a star attraction themselves on the evening with their display of 3D models; another addition to Hobs servcies currently being promoted in the Northwest. Both professional architects and students alike showed great interest in the new technology and how effictively it could be applied to their industry as an excellent tool in communicating their vision and bringing their plans to life even at the early planning stage.

For over 35 years Hobs Reprographics has worked in partnership with the architecture industry in the Northwest and has accompanied its growth and success within the region and so it seemed only natural for Hobs to support such an important occasion in the architectural calander.
